Traditional Lifting Class 




For many people, the weight room at a gym can be intimidating, especially if you’re just getting started on your fitness journey. With all of the different machines, equipment, and types of weights to choose from, it can be overwhelming. In fact, “gymtimidation” is one of the biggest reasons for people quitting the gym; And that’s exactly why we began our lifting classes at Inspire Fitness Studio! We want to empower and teach men and women of all ages to feel comfortable lifting weights and make their fitness goals attainable. Whether you’re just getting started or have been lifting for years and just want a little variation in your routine, our classes are for everyone!

Our classes are a welcoming, positive place, where people can feel comfortable coming, no matter what fitness level you’re at. It’s a motivating and uplifting atmosphere that will push you even harder than if you were working out alone. Additionally, since our certified personal trainers are leading the class, they’re constantly walking around correcting form, and ensuring everyone is doing the exercises correctly. This is especially important, as it helps to prevent injury as a result of bad form.


Our classes will teach you the basics of lifting, and the beauty of it is that you can progress at your own pace, continually challenging yourself with something new each week. We keep our classes fun and interesting, always introducing new exercises, to ensure you’ll never plateau or get bored!


What Kind of Lifts We Do

Our classes vary from week to week, incorporating several types of lifts for upper and lower body. We use barbells, kettlebells, dumbells, resistance bands, and more for a versatile and effective lift. Some of the traditional exercise we do include deadlifts, squats, lunges, bench press, lat pull downs, and much more. Through this type of exercise, you’ll not only be developing muscle but shedding fat at the same time.
